this is great news for me. No installation !, you are a legend.

Some suggestions:

Can you make the CD read a configuration file at startup so that the network settings are setup automatically, and during unattended-reboots.

Also if the configuration file can specify the location of the mysql data file (floppy, usb disk, hda1, hda2 etc) or even a remote Mysql server available via tcpip.

Then it will be a truly no installation CD. All new versions can be upgraded by simply using a new CD with the new software. All Data and configuration files are the same.
