Hi Dulce,
I need to see a live AstBill supporting PINs ( if it is possible) because I could not see it in the current AstBill demo ( (I think when you see you get more info and be sure from what I want).
Please give me more details. if it will support IAX softphone to use these PINs to make calls.
how could the softphone get the balance or calls history or could it be via an http or https URL post with PIN to see them. Or is there any xml interface for that or some APIs?
I have a fresh Fedora 4 server ( 2.8 GH ,1GB Ram, 100Mb connection) you could install all stuff together in that box ( Asterisk1.2 + Astbill + Mysql 5 + Drupal).
Does it support callshop or it has a module for it or will be in the near future.
Best Regards,
Sadiq

Dear Sadiq
Thanks for your email. There is options for prepaid cards (PINs) in AstBill. AstBill is an excelent system for cards.
We normally charge to install AstBill but right now we have a special offer.
You can run your own calling card business for only a minimal investment. That is a fantastic deal.
It is in use in a few callshop's. The problem is that I have been told it still need some customising. We are planning to update the standard package with the callshop module soon.
If you don't want to do it your self, one of our Engineers can do it for you including compleete installation and configuration. It is better for them to do it as they have worked with the system over long time. The Calling card interface will use PINs to make calls. You can use any IAX or SIP softphone or hardware device to make calls. You get the balance the same way other calling cards applications get it. By dialing the number for balance. If there is no balance on your card the system will tell you "Sorry, no Credit" when you try to call.
You can also assign incomming local and free numbers and use them as normal calling card applications. You will also get your balance on the web interface. There is no xml interface or special APIs but all the balances are stored in the MySQL database. Experienced programmers can easely extract that info for any usage.
Your Fedora 4 server is exelent for this usage.
